The Community of Madrid is an autonomous community of Spain, located in the center of the Iberian Peninsula and, within this, in the middle of the Central Plateau. Its capital, Madrid, is also the capital of Spain.
The basis of the Madrid regional cuisine sits in the sixteenth century when Madrid proclaimed its capital in two distinct levels: the aristocracy and the popular classes. The first universal omelette or Spanish omelette, quickly spread throughout the country, and second the hare pie, which, despite being a humble dish, became one of most sought after by the nobility in the capital after centuries.
This community is characterized by being part of sports culture, having years of transcendence and tradition on the subject, which has various famous football clubs, among which can be highlighted the Real Madrid or Atletico of Madrid.
