It is a sweet, dark wine that is usually taken for dessert.
Reportedly, the grape takes its name from a German named Peter Siemens who brought some strains from Germany, to produce sweet wine
This grape is known in history since the seventh century; the grape began to be celebrated in the sixteenth century, a time when it was confirmed that the grape had spread the white slopes of the southern province of Córdoba,(Andalusia) moving for its excellent qualities other strains.
This wine comes from grapes of black mahogany color, with aromas of raisins and figs, and it is recommended to accompany desserts.
